About Us

Our Story: From Fit Love Pup Social → Trails & Tails

Trails & Tails began as Fit Love Pup Social — a community built around fitness, love, and social connection for dogs. Its mission was to help pups reconnect with nature, build confidence, and find balance through movement and friendship.

Today, Trails & Tails is a trusted pack hike provider in Los Angeles, offering relationship-first dog care rooted in understanding, communication, and trust.

DayCare

Daycare with Trails & Tails is all about comfort, care, and individual connection. Dogs spend their day in a calm, loving environment--either in the comfort of our handler's homes or yours--filled with walks, gentle activity, play, rest, and plenty of affection. Every daycare day is tailored to what each pup needs most, whether that's movement, companionship, or quiet snuggle time.

Dog Walking

Our dog walking services offer reliable, one-on-one walks in your pup's neighborhood. Walks are tailored to your pup's pace and needs, with time to move, sniff, and explore familiar surroundings before heading back home. This service is offered on a limited, as needed basis, for our existing Trails & Tails clients.

Overnight Stay

Our overnight stays offer dogs a warm, loving, and comfortable place to rest while your away. Care takes place in the familiarity of our handler's homes or, when preferred, in your own home. Each stay is tailored to the individual dog--whether that means play, routine, quiet companionship, or extra care for seniors and pups with specific needs--so every dog feels safe, settled, and at home.
 

Pack Hikes

Our pack hikes are the heart of Trails & Tails. These guided hikes take place with thoughtfully curated packs where dogs move together through nature with structure, awareness, and care. Each hike balances freedom and guidance, allowing dogs to explore, socialize, and mover their bodies while staying connected to the pack and handler. Safety, relationship, and individual needs are always at the center of the experience.

Key Skills Training

Key Skills Training is offered as a one-time session focused on teaching owners how to work with their dogs at home. Rather than formal obedience training, this session provides simple guidance on communication, consistency, and basic cues, with the goal of giving owners tools they can continue to using on their own. This service is available on a limited basis and is often a stepping stone before joining the pack hikes.
